The villa of Capri where love and pain are sacred

Villa Lysis was built by the will of Count and poet Jacques d’Adelsward-Fersen to make it a residence in Capri.
The villa was designed by in 1905 Edouard Chimot, in Liberty style.

Villa Lysis, initially called La Gloriette and finally simply Villa Fersen, is a luxurious home located in the northern part of the island of Capri, in the area via Lo Capo.

How to get to the Villa

It can be reached on foot only. Our advice is to use comfortable shoes. The walk to reach the Capri Pier takes about 50 minutes. From Piazza Piazzetta, Piazza Umberto I, from here you have two trails: the first passes from Via Longano, and from Via Sprammonte, the other passes from Via delle Botteghe, Via Fuorlovado and Via Croce. Both paths lead to the Church of St. Michael at the Cross. From here you have to go along Via Tiberio to Via Lo Capo, you will find on the path of the Ceramic Signs Profit to guide you in your walk.
